Spanish Bombs is my favorite tune from the Clash's third album, the double LP classic "London Calling".  Some have said that London Calling is a 1970s record but the fact is that while it was released on December 14, 1979 in Britain it wasn't released in the US until January of 1980. That same month saw the release of the Pretenders self-titled debut album. What a great time for rock music.
